SIIMGROUP REAL SUMMIT BRINGS TOGETHER EXPERTS TO DISCUSS THE CHALLENGES FACING THE PROPERTY MARKET
Lisbon, 19 October 2026 — Last Friday, 16 October, the CGD Auditorium at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics & Management hosted the first edition of the Siimgroup Real Summit, an initiative by Siimgroup organised in partnership with ISEG, which drew a full house for a morning of reflection and knowledge-sharing on the property market, innovation, leadership and the challenges of the future.
This inaugural edition was marked by the presence of leading figures from the national scene, bringing together professionals and experts from various fields.
Among the participants were Assunção Ravara, António Ramalho, Fernando Santo, Isabel Ravara, João Duque, Paula Fernandes, Paulo Caiado, Pascal Gonçalves, Rui Meneses Ferreira and Sandra Fragoso, who contributed different perspectives on the reality of the Portuguese property market, the relationship between property development and estate agency, the economic challenges and the urban planning issues that influence the sector’s development.
In addition to issues directly related to the property market, the event also covered other topics. António Paraíso took to the stage to reflect on the importance of adaptability in times of uncertainty, whilst Helena Mourão and Mafalda Cancela de Abreu led a discussion on resilience and overcoming adversity.
Artificial Intelligence was also in the spotlight during a conversation between Frederico Navarro de Castro, Director of Siimgroup, and Daniel Henriques, RE/MAX’s leading property consultant at European level, who offered a practical perspective on technological developments and their impact on the property sector.
Training and knowledge as priorities for the sector
More than just a one-off event, the Siimgroup Real Summit forms part of RE/MAX Siimgroup’s ongoing commitment to training, professional development and fostering links between different fields of expertise. Holding the event in partnership with ISEG reinforces this approach, bridging the gap between the academic world and the business reality and creating opportunities to discuss topics with a direct impact on the property sector. This initiative forms part of the group’s vision regarding the importance of ensuring professionals are constantly up to date, a vision also developed through Siimacademy, its training arm, which promotes the acquisition of knowledge and the development of skills within the sector.
The first edition of the Siimgroup Real Summit thus marks the creation of a new forum for discussion and reflection, seeking to contribute to a sector that is better informed, better prepared and more attuned to the challenges of the future.
